How we got here

2017
BUILT WITH A PURPOSE
Empire Fight Store was founded with a clear mission to engineer combat sports equipment that puts athlete protection first. By identifying the weaknesses in standard fight gear, Empire began developing equipment around the real demands fighters face.
2020
PIONEERING TAPE TECHNOLOGY
One of those problems was impossible to ignore glove tape losing adhesion and coming away mid-fight. Empire worked directly with the British Boxing Board of Control to co-brand specialised glove tape that eliminated this long-standing issue.
2021
THE EMPIRE MAXIMUS BOOT
Maximus took that same protection-first thinking into the ring. Built with an integrated ankle brace directly within the boot structure, it was engineered to help safeguard fighters against serious ligament damage without getting in the way of the fight.
Today
ANATOMICAL BOXING GLOVES
The Empire approached boxing gloves from the inside out. The range was shaped around natural hand alignment, impact absorption and wrist stability, giving fighters greater protection while preserving the performance they rely on.
